Mark J. Aubry has developed a specialty in helping clients simplify very confusing and overwhelming topics. Through customized and coordinated solutions, Mark leads the Aubry Group team to help clients move Beyond Financial Planning.
Mark educates clients on basic economic principles and their effects. Clients have used Mark’s strategies to minimize income taxes, properly transition businesses and practices, leverage the value of their businesses to create personal wealth and take control of their investments and financial futures.
Mark is the Managing Director/Director of Investments for the Aubry Group. He speaks regularly to business organizations, athletic programs and on college campuses. He has appeared on television more than fifteen times discussing financial, investment and planning topics. As an Adjunct Professor of Business and Finance at Illinois Wesleyan University, Mark has taught three different courses: Investments, Financial Management and Individual Planning and Social Benefits. In 2009 he published a white paper entitled the Seven Investor Traps - An Authoritative Guide on How the Average Investor Becomes an Extraordinary Investor. In both 2010 and 2011, Mark was named by Medical Economics magazine as one of the Best Financial Advisors for Doctors.
A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, Mark was an outstanding high school athlete and All-Conference and All-Region collegiate basketball player and was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame in April of 2007. He still holds several high school, college and state of Illinois records.
In 2009, Mark and his wife, Sarah, along with Mark’s cousin, Adam Provance, founded an organization called Hoops for Haiti. Bringing a message of hope and love through basketball, the organization collects basketball equipment in the United States and uses it to lead basketball camps in Haiti.
Mark and Sarah have three daughters.
